John D. Rice was a politician in Wisconsin. Rice, a native of Sparta, Wisconsin, was a delegate to the 1948 Democratic National Convention. In 1948, he was an unsuccessful candidate for the Wisconsin State Assembly, losing to Alex L. Nicol. Rice became a member of the Democratic State Central Committee in 1954.
